We offer 1 hour Hanging Meditation sessions for only $20. Our hammocks are made of silk for a soft feel against your skin. Hanging meditation allows you to escape the world outside for a while to quiet your mind and let your body simply drift in space.
The Benefits of Hanging Meditation
Hanging meditation can be helpful to anyone. But particularly those with back pain. Getting off your feet and letting your body relax in the hammock and help ease stiff muscles and pressure points. Most of us are either on our feet or sitting down for the majority of the day, putting constant pressure on our backs from being upright and dealing with gravity compressing the back day in and day out. By allowing yourself at least an hour of hanging meditation, the pressure is removed.
The moment you slip yourself into the hammock, you may feel your body begin to unwind. A relaxed body can help reduce stress simply from feeling good. Hanging meditation gives you the time to relax and reflect, focusing on the meditation aspect and allowing your mind to calm. You can hang either in silence or you can listen to your favorite music while doing so. (We recommend only using your phone for music - try not to let it act as a distraction as you meditate!)
